What makes Stitch so popular?
For those unfamiliar with Stitch, let’s take a quick look at what makes him such a well-loved character.
Stitch has a big personality! He is a feisty, mischievous creature when he first arrives on Earth. But, as the story unfolds, his personality shines through. The more Stitch learns about the value of family and what love is, the more mellow and loving he becomes. His journey of self-discovery is heartwarming, and people love how he is a funny anti-hero with undeniably cute floppy ears and big eyes!

POP Disney: Lilo & Stitch – Stitch with Ukelele
Let’s begin with a classic Stitch Funko Pop! Any avid collector of these figures will know that plenty of Funko Pops are dedicated to this beloved Disney character. In this design, Stitch is joyfully playing his ukelele. It would be the perfect gift for any Stitch enthusiast, even if that person is you!
Stitch fact: Did you know that Stitch was first created in 1981 by Chris Sanders? He co-wrote and co-directed Lilo & Stitch and was even the voice of the Stitch character in the original film!
Hasbro Games: Monopoly Disney Stitch Edition Board Game
This special edition Stitch Monopoly is the perfect way to bring the family together for games night. Not only are the game tokens all Stitch in bright colours, but the gameboard is themed with properties replaced by activities and beach rentals, and houses are swapped for beach huts and lighthouses.
There is still the competitive element of Monopoly, so it’s all to play for!
Stitch fact: Stitch wasn’t always going to be the loveable creature we have grown to love. He was originally designed to be an intergalactic gangster! Jumba was supposed to be a disgruntled member of his gang who was left behind after a heist and was seeking revenge.
POP Disney: Lilo & Stitch – Stitch 626
This Stitch 626 Funko Pop depicts Stitch in his original state – an extraterrestrial genetic mutation! Before disguising himself as a dog, Stitch looked a lot more alien-like. Though he looks slightly different here, we love Stitch in all his forms!
Stitch fact: When “Stitch’s Great Escape” was first introduced to Disneyworld’s Magic Kingdom on the 16th of November 2004, Stitch couldn’t help but get up to some mischief. Guests entered the park to find Cinderella’s Castle strewn with toilet paper and “Stitch is King” scrawled over the turrets!
Sambro Stitch Bowling Set
This Stitch themed bowling set is not only fun for little ones, but it helps them develop hand eye coordination and physical dexterity. You can use it inside or outside for fun in all weather!
Stitch fact: Lilo & Stitch was the first animated film to be set in Hawaii. The film may not have laid claim to this fact, as the first location choice was Kansas!
POP Disney: Stitch Costume – Simba
This delightful POP figure is part of the “Stitch in Costume” series and shows Stitch dressed as Simba from The Lion King!
Any Disney fan will love this adorable figure showing a smiling Stitch. The unique design will stand out in any Funko POP collection, with the colourful mane being a real highlight.
Final Stitch fact: Stitch is quite the movie star! He’s featured in many films, TV shows, books and games beyond the first Lilo & Stitch instalment:
